That statement from a Member of Parliament should have read:

Greens upper house member Jeremy Buckingham wrote to the Police Minister requesting the Police Force "respect the right of citizens to peacefully protest matters that they care deeply about, and the rights of citizens and corporate citizens to go about their legal business ".
"While NSW Police is there to enforce the law, it should not be used as a private security force for a company against the broad community, but also not allow mob rule to illegally endanger the community, individuals and corporate business and property which are operating in a legal manner" he said."

Why do these advocators of mob rule, terrorism (which it is but called "community protest"), and intimidation, believe that there is one rule for them, and one rule for others?
