for trf to make such an announcement too early would be seen as manipulative. the timing imo is correct. this time around there has not been bot biting at the price to support the options as trf had actually done for it's own option call a few yrs back. trf was slapped over the knuckles by the asx for that. trf does not score too well for announcement promises and we are all aware of that. however, i do not remember many minnows coming through a gfc on the right side of things such as trf have done. i have few doubts myself, that once the machinery starts moving the goods, more interest will eventuate. some day olympic hill will likely be known as the one that got away. 40 can here the shouting now 'if only i had the guts to buy trf back late 2011 or early 2012. i only hope sr finch and his gang can stay independent.

fwiw i doubt for trf to chase the ife options big time would actually have worked out. it would be seen by the asx as a 'big query' if trf took out a big chunk for itself latish in the game. anyone else with big enough pockets for the call money can take advantage but again it's unlikely any decent volumes would actually succeed. best here only for the little guys. any decent buying hit would almost certainly push the option price into 'poor value teritory' very quickly.

if the options succeed then imo and in this case it will be a huge huge huge positive.

the wheels are on the wagon so let it roll.

bbb imo has done a good job delving deep into the workings of the news and figures. all his / her neagatives can be seen as positives in keeping us all on our toes. thanks matey.

40's downgraded ife to 'buy' from 'strong buy' due to the strong ozzie and the chinese sentiment changes from building to domestic priorities. tfr remains a 'strong buy' with its ongoing exploration positives, especially olympic hill.
