trial by media and stupidity

Hello all,

This attack has gone from absurd to sad to ridiculous. We now need EPA monitoring next to service stations and in your garage while you warm up your car. Monitoring on the main street, in shopping centres - no forget all that - yikes lets face it we all need gas masks and full body protection suits all of a sudden.

How ignorant are these poor people? A full statement on modern life needs to be presented to these misguided people that live in fear of a process that actually cleans up the environment. They are scared and angry but they have the wrong target.

Cars and trucks are to be banned from hence forth and so are tractors, chemical sprays, inorganic fertilizers, plastics, cigarettes, wood fires, tar roads and especially conventional coal mining.

This is like something out of a Monty Python movie - shes a witch, burn the witch... wood burns, wood floats, a duck floats, weigh her against a duck... if she weighs the same as a duck - what the scales balance??? - burn her anyway she's a witch yells the crowd!

No apology if this seems flippant but this fuss is just unbelievable.

Monitor everything as stringently as UCG and nothing will ever move again for fear of even naturally occurring environmental toxins. Trial by media and stupidity - industrial sabotage and incompetence at its worst.

We all need to write letters or sigh a letter that educates the media, the average man, bureaucrats, councilors (stirred up by local groups) etc and support Len and the team. Bring in the scientists please and then have somebody translate the technical jargon so they can understand what this is all about.

Otherwise I fear we will end up paying twice as much for far dirtier electricity in future as we watch this become standard practice in China first and then the rest of the world. This is why inventions don't take off in Australia I am disgusted about this whole process.
