So it seems that as of 18 July the trials are still recruiting! An update was submitted to this site 3 days ago:

In the last month, one site in Florida and two in Germany have commenced recruiting.
No changes have been made to the trial design or outcome measures.
So it seems that as of 18 July the trials are still recruiting!...
