As well as the Great Northern Highway being just 5Km west,
the goldfields gas pipeline runs past DeGrussa about 20Km to the east on its way from the NW Shelf to Kalgoorlie and further south.
The goldfields gas pipeline provides the energy needs for Plutonic gold mine which is nearby as well as numerous other mines along the length of the pipeline.
