Yeah I am pretty sure what you are suggesting is illegal - prearranged trades etc
I agree that someone might be trying to accumulate and they are letting it drop and scooping all that comes in on the sell side but I doubt the company is involved in any way.
As for them having tox results already - that I just don’t believe. They would be in a trading halt the moment they receive something like that until they could get a release written. The way it was explained to me (quite a while ago) was that it is contracted out and the results will be delivered when they are ready. A bunch of gory stuff is happening to animals so it happens behind very closed doors.
