Also if GM fail, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, Honda, Germans etc.. who actually know how to run a business will take up the slack. Creative destruction as you like. Ford and Chrysler might actually get their act together. End point, same amount of cars will be needed so who cares who makes them. The unemployment is the real concern.
