We thought they would do it straight after Westpac did it.
They told us they wouldnt do the capital raising until the new year and have now suddenly raised the money as we expected. Makes me wonder if this was their intention all along using the ploy about next year to keep the price up for the fund raising.
No reason for it too fall much further now, at least 27 should make a floor. Amazingly the banks don't seem to have any trouble raising the money quickly. Could be a good day for them tomorrow apart from possible profit taking from instos, although most of them buy for the long term.
