If the analyst was any good, they'd be backing themselves to make a living on the maket and not working for someone else. They're just providing a best guess scenario and a lot of the time they get it completely wrong. The broking company has to have some colorful material to present to clients, that's what the analysts prepare. I can count on one hand the actual brokers worth listening to over the years, very few!
