I am passing some long term knowledge on Trifecta punting where I have done well and others who are close to me, structure as follows:
Using no's 1-2-3 for example.
Trifecta ticket 1 1st Place 1-2-3 2nd place 1-2-3 3 rd place field
Trifecta ticket 2 1st Place 1-2-3 2nd place field 3 rd place 1-2-3
Trifecta ticket 3 1st Place field 2nd place 1-2-3 3 rd place 1-2-3
Basically you only need two of the three horses in first,second or third place to collect the Trifecta.
General rules - Only bet this way with races with the number of horses 11 or above in the field - Select races where there is a decent pool of money in Trifecta (carryovers are good- Melb cup day perfect - bet what you can afford ( I normal put $30 on each ticket) - I select horses between $5 - $35 as part of the three
Get all three horses and all tickets win.
