I didnt watch it but Ive tried writing letters to government on just the upgrades required to the Building Industry, Ive written 16 page letters to Government on the topic of what improvements are needed to the Building Industry.
The Problem is it dosnt matter how well its written, because none of the MPs in Government have even worked in the Building Industry so they dont comprehend the topic let alone the content.
The Problem isnt in the workmanship. Its in the 'Who is responsible' for the work. Right now there is noone responsible and the liability is separate from the Money. Those that make the money from Building are separated from the liability for fault.
The only way to fix that, is with "Societies of Builders" Building Societies. Because it would then make the Financier of the building project also the builder and guarantor and Insurer of the building being constructed. So the Financier isnt going to risk its own future by building something dodgy. It would quickly sharpen up all the engineering of the structure design, because that would become part of the stability in the Financier itself.
Making the Builder, a Building society, means the Builder makes building Profit AND the profit from being the finance provider. So with that being such a valuable entity, its in the Financier Builders intrests to ensure the structural integrity of the structures are sound, because they themselves would be the one responsible for Insuring it is sound, and with the funds and resources to rectify if there is fault.
But because Currently all partys are limited with their liability, and the game is money only with no liability, Thats why we currently have so many Strutural problems, because right now its money first for no responsibility.
My solution of Building Societies as 'Society of Builders'. Solves the problem of WHO is responsible. And it must be the one with the money, the one making the money must be the one responsible. Because if those that make the money have no responsibility, then buildings will be done for profit only, and leaving everyone else like the owners that buy them in the sheit.
