Trilogy Metals Inc. said Monday that its proposed plan and budget for its joint venture project in Alaska has been approved by a state public corporation. The Vancouver-based metal exploration and development company said the Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority formally approved the Ambler Access Project plan and budget for the 2022 summer field season activities and services of up to $30.8 million. AIDEA has authorized $15.4 million for field season activities on the Ambler Access Project which will be matched by Ambler Metals LLC, the joint venture between Trilogy Metals and South32 Ltd. Ambler Metals has a 100% interest in the Upper Kobuk Mineral Projects in Northwestern Alaska.
