That is a common problem with this stable. Communication is always a drag. Look at Lindian share holders as a most recent example...no news for yonks, and then shareholders had their pants pulled down in no uncertain terms....months after the shareprice decline was signalling "trouble".
And lets never forget Lichvaz....that wonderful Armenian gold mine that turned out to be not so wonderful at all. Shareholders were caught by surprise on that one too. Projected profits for years to come were turned into big fat zeros when the mine was written down by hundreds of millions in the books of Tamaya soon after they took over Iberian Resources.
Lack of communication can be a very frustrating behaviour for shareholders to have to deal with. Yet with the ASX Quarterly Reporting process, it really shouldn't be that hard to keep the owners of the company (that's you - the shareholders) more fully informed.
Yet, here we are, months later, and no shareholder is any the wiser on what happened with Vale.....
