Trinity will take up the option. If they don't, ME will have to hand in his DRG resignation.
The reason- ME has a vested interest in Trinity. If Trinity don't take up the option, this will mean they think the project isn't worth pursuing and in turn, ME would think the same given he is part owner. And if he thought this, he shouldn't continue as MD.
Therefore it will get exercised.
