The Trinity Doctrin was enacted in 325 AD by the Emperor Constantine at the Conference of Nicaea. This conference was advertised a year in advance to enable all of Christendom to attend, however it started days earlier than the advertised date. The Arians who had arrived early were forcibly locked out since they unanimously believed God was a singularity. This singular nature of God is emphasised throughout the Old Testament. Constantine used the Trinity Doctine to morph the struggling Roman Empire into the Roman Catholic Church, as to maintain control.
The Trinity Doctrin is blasphemy of the first degree. It is a reason God sent the Prophit Muhammad to re-establish the singular nature of God.
A few Islamic facts; The Quran states numerous times that prayer with prostration at dawn and dusk is necessary and sufficient. An acceptable prayer is the first surah of the Quran. "All praise be to God, most gracious, most merciful, ruler of the worlds, master of judgement day. God alone do weworship. God alone do we ask for help. Guide us in the straight path that leads to you, not the way of those that go astray and earn your anger." Many Christian converts say the Lord's Prayer as well.
It is not necessary to formally convert. It's between you and God, not really anybody else's business.
