You and a bunch have been here 2 years whilst me+ others just 6 weeks. But remember this is a speculative sector- not an index where the average vlogger keep repeating what thousands say ie put 300 or so per month in s&p index from the start of your working life and by the time you’re 70, you’ll be a multi multimillionaire. We’re here because for different reasons we’ve come to know the risks/rewards and we know what we’re looking for. And by the way, one’s time in wa8 doesn’t necessarily make one a better investor than others as many of us have been in this game for years and had a fair share of ups and downs. we also know the rewards can be enormous. After trying it out in 2006, my small parcels in penny stock were decimated in 2008. Didn’t bother for 4 years until the same dog stocks rose to the same fame as they were. Fortunately at that time, i was much younger, had the energy to go thru the corporate daily grind for years . Then re-enter with bruises and better perspective and more accessible information which tended to level the playing field a bit
In short, whether you’ve been here 2 years, 20 years or 2 months, the big thing could be within your grasp any moment.

so yes I don’t believe it’s about how long one has been in a stock. It’s being in the right stock. Because this is not an index play.
When we invested in a lithium play, the holders there are a mix of retirees and young blood in their 20’s who found the stock via hotcopper and others they friends and family. The profits of those who have been in their 50’s and 20’s are the same if they bought the same number of stocks. A $20k initial buy in 2019 became $2m in 2023 regardless of their age and the time they’ve been in the market. Whether in 50’s with bruises or 20’s without bruises, they can quit the work force if they wish so long as they can protect and keep growing their profits. The latter wonder why they went to uni to study engineering or law or study to become carpenters and mechanics

I don’t feel entitled just because I held the stock longer lol maybe I’ve held this stock longer than 1% of the holders. So whether you’ve been here for 2 years or 2 months, all the best to you waiters (wa8’ers). It looks like wa8 is in the cusp of something. Just beware of risk as usual.



Meanwhile, where’s the spp why does it take a week (June 24) to finalise it. Jhmmm impatience again.
