Perhaps I do. A foreign outfit is not on an equal footing with locals no matter where you are. How far one is on the back foot depends on the nature of the jurisdiction, but nowhere is a foreigner equal, even here in Australia where it is about as good as it gets. Being outnumbered, in this case 2 to 1, is further disempowering. In a worse case scenario what a foreign company brings to the table, regardless of the rules, can be taken off it, and when no longer needed, sent packing. With the current tripartite arrangement I don't think for a minute that sovereign risk could run anywhere near as deep, but a risk of sorts will always be there. Despite current euphoria, vigilance should not be forgotten. Still having said all that I like the company's prospects and will be looking to top up my holding this week. Looks undervalued.
