seems a bit ridiculous, and people will get caught out... almost everyone except some of the elderly have mobile phones... yet the number they need to call in an emergency is a landline number... during these emergencies, the landlines are out
there should be a mobile number for emergencies not linked to the mediaeval landline service
and of course, the NBN is down and out...its all underground
god help those people that are relying on their mobiles in this emergency...as the telstra triple zero is not working they need to call the other numbers in my last post
