Nothing to stop any of us contacting ASIC. Mind you, in the past I have contacted ASX and ASIC with documented illegalities and they have done nothing. I mean clear cut (not even behind closed doors) evidence.
Everyone must be very clear that the authorities and ombudsmans are not there to do anything other than collect their salary and 'look' like they will do something. Note the Royal Commission. Where was ASIC and ASX and Ombudmans. Over my years I have a few clear cut, documented examples GIVEN to ASIC and ASX and Ombudmans. That I will leave for my 'book'.
The purpose of my post is two fold
1) GDXJ has 'not yet' sold WGX shares... still sitting on 21.6 mill (I checked last three days holdings)
2) Most importantly, does this shorting on inside knowledge, if true, mean the GDXJ will indeed be dumping some shares. If they need to sell, say 20%, of WGX, that is 4 mill shares; that will be quite a bundle of shares to absorb, and will indeed cause a big fall... we do see that 2 mill a day short causes a huge hit
