Dilmac,
IMHO, STO has been in the cross hair for quite sometime now. Hence why, IMHO it had to try and expand at the rate of knots in order to make it harder for someone else to complete their plans. ESG was a way for STO to do something to protect them.
While there is some confusion out there on what STO is up to and doing, IMHO, it is very hard for some outside forces to make a move.
They would have to firstly find out what STO is up to and what level of debts they are going to take up before they can make a move. For, anyone that is intending to make that move, they will need a lot of money, and no one will supply that kind of money unless they are 100% sure of what they are going to get in return. And even if they have that kind of money in their war chest already, they would still have to convince the Independent Directors of their own Board, that that is the best way of doing it.
Have you ever tried shooting at a bird with a .22 calibre rifle, while it is not standing still and taking aim at it?? Think about it.
Please DYOR.
