If Lynas fails with he court case, it will essentially overturn the 6 month extension, which in turn will cause trouble down the line - ie the plaintiffs can further argue due to the 6 month extension being illegally decided, that the 3 year extension becomes void.

Likewise, the EIA will cause further headache and annoyances for Lynas. Although they might get the $15M AUD back from the PDF fund, they will need to quickly register in other countries to take the WLP residue. This is just a headache and is extremely annoying since it will definitely impact profits.
