it's always a potential, more likely we'll see an acquisition imo. However these manufacturing plants are for the EV charging stations themselves, not this component thats needed to produce them. Think Samsung making the components for the Apple iPhone despite both being key competitors. The domain of focusing on the product can be more valuable than the internal components that make it up. Especially the domain of specialisation and expertise that is required to produce them.
