Within my post "Hardman Assessed" I mentioned a company (couldn't recall its name at the time)similar to HDR which was taken over for heaps of money several years ago. That company was Triton Energy in Aquatorial Guinea (next to Gabon). Xmagx has kindly found details of the purchase in his post 259880 on 21 Mar.
The article did and does make fascinating reading as it provides an insight into the sort of money involved with a takeover of this sort having regard to what we might hopefully expect to get WHEN (not if) a predator emerges for HDR.
Come on fellas, throw some light on it for all of us.
Unfortunately I am not informed enough or clever enough to be able to weigh up the comparisons but I am sure some of the knowledgable H/C folk could do it.
Olivier, Scareabo and any others, are you there?
