Triton Minerals provides an update on Mozambique projects



Triton Minerals Limited has released an update regarding the recent activities conducted at the Nicanda Hill, Ancuabe and Balama South graphite projects, all located in Mozambique.

The Company reported that development and timeline is on-track at Nicanda Hill, with the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment and the Environmental Pre-viability Report and Scope Definition on schedule. Triton Minerals’ Definitive Feasibility Study is also progressing on schedule.

Triton Minerals has completed the Geotechnical and Hydrological drilling programme and has confirmed that the metallurgical test work programme is well advanced. The Company completed and submitted its DUAT applications to the Governor of the Cabo Delgado Province for provincial approval.

At Ancuabe, the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment and the Environmental Pre-viability Report and Scope Definition are on schedule and the Company will commence with the initial drilling programme shortly.

The Reconnaissance geographical mapping and sampling programme conducted at Balama South has been completed. The metallurgical and mineralogical test work programme is underway and is conducted by Mintek Laboratories in South Africa to define the flow sheet for the graphite flotation and recovery process.

Brad Boyle, Managing Director and Chief Executive Director of the Company, commented, “It has been an extremely busy period for Triton, with solid progress with the Nicanda Hill DFS which is on track for completion, together with the ESIA, by the end of 2015. Meanwhile, the company has also initiated the preliminary exploration programme and full ESIA at the Ancuabe graphite project together with an initial renaissance mapping and sampling at the Balama South project. Triton is pleased with concurrent advancement of all projects and we look forward to updating the market as the results from the various programmes become available in the coming weeks and months ahead.”
