The article posted earlier states as follows:
"The agreement promotes Puntland as “the Democratic State of Puntland” and claims that it covers an approximately 212, 500 km2 including Somaliland’s Sool and Sanag regions as well as parts of the Hiran regions in Somalia ."
My question - is the above statement true? and if so what proportion of the stated 212,000m2 do the Sool and Sanag regions represent If they are indeed part of the Puntland agreement then there can be no hiding from the fact that they are currently being disputed by Somaliland minister of foreign affairs
