Hi dolcevital, I recently took a small position in a cleantech company that also had financing from La Jolla. It was a big negative and management recently paid the balance owing out and cancelled the agreement. Its sp trippled in a couple of months.
I noticed on a recent Bioshares newsletter that a number of biotechs have financing facilities with La Jolla as the lender of last resort. This is why I am perplexed that management so recently after the float raised finance with La Jolla when the capital raising option was always available to them by the placement of shares which they did anyway a couple of months later. Mystifying.
