Wow! - TRS is off my watch list and I only just saw the price at sub $3.50. Oh for the glory days when it was $15 (last Sept).
So is it a good price to buy now or still stay away? My view (and in fairness I am no longer as close to it as I used to be when I was a holder) is to still stay away.
On the macro level just where is our economy going to - re real wage growth and unemployment? (not to mention the ASX now below 5800 as I type). On a competition level just how much price deflation is in the sector thanks to Aldi and others? Throw in Amazon (they will sell anything and cheaper than anyone else) then its hard to see TRS being relevant.
Then chuck in their own problems re the new DC and the issues that will bring in the short/medium term in regards to cash flow means "I still prefer others".
Will have to show to me they have turned around same store growth to the positive. Also if directors are not buying at this price then why in the hell should I?
Best of luck to current holders but to be honest I just cannot see any reason to buy at the minute.
