Then a bit later lefties hated globalisation, leading to movements such as "Occupy Wall Street", because again social media manipulated them to do so. But then the media told the lefties globalisation and a world without borders was fantastic, and a few crafty #twitters of drowned kids suddenly made a world without borders, identification, or passport checks the best way to go.

Now the same Western state-run media tells us of terrible atrocities inflicted by Russia on Syrian civilians. Assad evil, lets kill him yah-de-yah. While in the meantime Saudi Arabia is dropping British made cluster bombs on Yemen's citizens who are going through a similar struggle with its leaders, except there its a Shiite civilian population trying to overthrow a Sunni Saudi-backed government.

Yeah. No propaganda in the Western media.

ABC, just report on gender identity and diversity.

I don't disagree with your summary of events. I actually share some similar views.
The notable difference is that I don't characterize it as belonging to left or right.
I'm interested in why you characterize the left as being in servitude to Western media? It is a strange characterization.
