trucking to save us$1 - $1.50 per dmtu

i was reading the 14 June 2011 announcement of URA (at the same time i was listening to Kate's hysterical outburst on brr.com.au, about how hysterical human beings were about a "insignificant" event such as the Japanese earthquake)

the 14 June 2011 announcement of URA states: "obtaining finance for trucking equipment which has the potential to save approximately US$1 to $1.50 per dmtu when owner operator"

my understanding is 1 dmtu = 10 kg. thus US$1 to $1.50 per dmtu = $100 to $150/t

now manganese sells for around $500/t, atm, yet URA say they are going to "save" $150/t on their operating costs by buying some trucks

so, the question is: "if you can drop your operating costs by $150/t, then how much are your costs?"

for example, SRR have estimated operating costs in the range of A$110 to $140/tonne (4 April 2011)

yet, despite the 50% grades, URA claim they can save $150 on their costs

now, I was expecting their total costs be $150/t max, given the super high grades

so who is confused? DDzzzz or URA?
