the thing that got me was not the amount - although one assumes it is not a one off small amount. the thing that struck me is that it may be the start of a change.
In my experience, when the customers start coming to the back door to make sure of supply - then that often means something. It usually means they are getting desperate - it always means they are either getting desperate or are getting scared.
Either way - it is the sign that is important. I have seen this before - smart people in the know get wind of things a lot earlier than most and they begin to position themselves. If - and I do say IF it happens then the result is always the same -------- producers are run off their feet. And if they can't produce enough to fit the demand then one thing and one thing only happens --------- price shift. As I said, it all could be complete bollocks ------ but, we have been getting a few hints over the last 6 months or so - little rumours of waiting time - several stories of being able to buy but not collect for a while. hmmm, and now this. There are also a lot of stories about physical being absorbed quickly by china and some central banks -- so, I don't know but it can all begin to ring true. I will put the antennae up and see if I can get the real story just after xmas. If you get a chance can you send me an email - Billy's new office 2010 thinks you are a spy and made your address disappear.
