CTP's gas was stranded. It had (has) NT PWC and a couple of miners for customers, taking a fraction of existing capacity.
ANY pipe linking it to the eastern markets means it can move the immovable, sell the unsalable.
Yes, I too would prefer a direct link Alice to Moomba. But this is what we have - and it didn't cost CTP a cent. NGP capacity can be significantly raised with additional gas compressors. If CTP discovers more saleable gas Jemina would be pleased to make this modest incremental investment, making their original investment considerably more valuable.
I don't see any reason for a long face.
