true value

I've been trying to get my head around the era proposition for a while and still don't really understand where the value is. With Ranger due to shut at the end of next year at the latest, and no start date for any other projects (are Jabiluka and Ranger Deeps the only ones?), what are people buying except a long term environmental restoration project? Is it just the hope that there will be approval for Jabiluka? Japan and the rainfall aside, because they will be overcome one way or another, how is there any future for ERA as a profitable business and why would anyone hold shares in it? not downramping - just would really like some advice on this from the believers...
