Trujillo certainly did get it right and few people have forgiven him for this audacity.
He was the first CEO we have had that took his reponsibilities seriously and told us shareholders what both the present and future looked like - we hadn't heard that before with government lackies running the business - their main objective being to spruik the business to mug-punters like ourselves.
Of course he was only fulfilling his statutorily defined responsibilities around the subject of full disclosure - but never mind about that.
