This sounds like it would be good news, on the face of it, but only if a deal isn't already underway. I think that most of us are expecting NEU to announce a deal of some sort early in the new year and if that is the case then none of this will affect that outcome as it would already be well negotiated in regards to the terms and amounts involved.
If a deal is not well underway then this certainly won't hurt IMHO.
