To Trump's credit, he acknowledged the impact the shooter had on those affected much more than him - IMO genuinely so and it was great to hear that he's followed up with the families of those wounded / killed.
Until Trump played his GOD CARD and degenerated into preaching about Billy Graham, non-violence and love throughout America his address had been appropriate. Trump's memory failure about the Capitol Hill Insurrection of January 6th, 2021 was at odds with the details he remembered about about his religious childhood.
What then unfolded was intentionally self-adulating, abusive, threatening, wandered all over the place then back again.
To Trump's credit he basically placed everyone who is not an American on notice that as President his 'MAGA' is about the USA first, second, third and always. There'll be great big tax cuts for $Billionaires, for large US corporations, for waitresses' who rely on 'tips' and anything sold in America will have to made there.
