Trump could induce a great depression.

1. Trump wants to bring apple back to the US. If he did that the Chinese could just use apples technology and compete against apple and take market share. This would also occur with other companies who have set up in china. The US could lose the technology race.

2. Trump complains that oil is controlled by the middle east and prices are too high. When the oil price dropped it cost Texas around $60 billion USD in lost revenue and the multiplier effect would be around $300 billion to the economy.

3 Trump wishes to bring manufacture back to the US. This would create hyper inflation due to the cost of production in the US. Companies have several other third world locations to choose which are cheaper than China. There would be a currency war. Trump could create a civil war inside the U.S. as poverty increases.

4. Trump wishes to block people coming out of Mexico and bring their trade back into the US. This would fuel the drug problem, threaten the Mexican government and risk Mexico becoming a dictatorship.
