The only way an appeal would succeed is if there was a procedural failure as in the recent Weinstein case. Did the judge instruct the jury incorrectly? Did the judge fail to allow the Defence to call witnesses that impeded their defence? etc.
The law itself is clear, the evidence conclusive & there was no jury malfeasance.
