Anderson Hays Cooper (born June 3, 1967) is a prominent American broadcast journalist and political commentator, currently anchoring CNN's Anderson Cooper 360°. Besides his role at CNN, he also serves as a correspondent for CBS's 60 Minutes. After earning a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University in 1989, Cooper traveled the globe, capturing footage of war-torn regions for Channel One News. He joined ABC News as a correspondent in 1995 and took on various roles across the network, including co-anchor, reality game show host, and fill-in morning talk show host.
