It appears to be working in favor of Trump. From reports there are even Democrat voters that will change to Trump because they believe he is getting a raw deal. Because the ballot is not compulsory, a lot of Democrat voters probably wont even vote. Add the fact that Biden appears to be mentally "restricted" and Trump is really the only other one to vote for. It appears that having him on "trumped up" charges is the only way they can hope to win.
