    Will Thomas recuse himself from considering Trump's ballot eligibility?

    I suspect he will recuse himself out of self interest.

    Thomas' wife Ginni was clearly involved in the insurrection and its planning and she attended Trump's speech just before Trump sent the mob off to fight like hell.

    There will be EXTREME fallout on SCOTUS which ever way the SCOTUS decision goes. Thomas has a convenient off ramp to secure a peaceful (for him) future life.

    Thomas appears to be a man who secures "self interest" as and when required.
