The jury system for high profile cases with either political ramifications (Trump, Lehrmann) or high profile sports players (OJ Simpson) is always going to have difficulty. Jury system was OK a hundred years ago in these cases but today the people are much more aligned to a party or person. They can easily force a hung jury or have the case aborted. Every juror in the Trump trial would have already formed some opinion of the man.
I am pretty sure this will be a hung jury. Imagine being a juror in this..............for 8 weeks you are known to friends, neighbours, politicians, lawyers and corrupt criminals. Good luck getting through that.
