If Criminal Defendant Trump in innocent as he and you claim, why was he so determine to avoid going to trial rather than get to trial and prove his is innocent? I he did that it would give him a huge boost to his re-election.

Truth is that he knows he is guilty and the evidence against him is too compelling, so he had hoped to avoid the trial until after the election so if he won he could make his legal problems go away
