Late term abortions are not as common as they make out and are usually done for good reasons like for life threat to the mothers life or abnormalities of the baby. Jethro and the anti-abortionist would have us believe that late term abortions are done for simple connivance, as if a woman would carry a pregnancy for 6 months then say, Nah I don't want a baby. Most mid term abortions are done for the same reason.
The majority of abortions are conducted in the early term soon after the woman realise she is pregnant, at that people it's not much more than an embryo and an abortion can be done simple by taking a few pills. Not dissecting the baby piece by piece as Jethro would have us believe.
To deny an woman that became a victim of rape or inccest an abortion is just evil, they are victims of crimes and forced to live with the reminder of that crime for the rest of their lives.
There is also the hypocrisy of conservatives against abortion in that they say they care for the unborn child but once the child is born the mother and child are expected to fend for themselves
