See...the FACTS are..in the tumult going on at the time...DT was being presented with two if not more, competing versions of what he could do to effect what he thought needed to be done

But DT...not a lawyer...not a politician...was just a man surrounded by a cadre of advisors all highly qualified and excellent at their job. It was his call and he made the one he did. One he believed was, at the time, correct, lawful and based on the C.
Your view and others is that, in fact, it wasnt and it was unlawful. Still debatable even now years on.
So tell me...how does that give you the element of the crime needed to gain a conviction? Where is the intent to commit a crime if he believed he was choosing one of a number of options he was being told were viable and legal?
