The defence team's only hope is to NOW cast doubt on whether Cohen testimony creates any doubt. That's all they need to do to get hung jury.
BUT you have to assume the jury would also be asked to consider if Cohen is so dishonest and can't be trusted then why did Trump himself directly hire him for over a decade.
