Interesting use of words in your post .... "Trumped up". How interesting and appropriate that society already had associated the word "Trump" with the act of "deceiving".
Definition: "Trumped up" means "to concoct especially with intent to deceive : fabricate, invent".
It seems that so many of Trump's own actions and claims fit the definition of being "Trumped up". He appears to have "Trumped up" is claimed wealth and the value of his properties. He appears to have Trumped up claims about the election being stolen. He appears to have Trumped up his claims about various crimes that he is accused of committing.
I find it so fitting that a well known term in the English language for lying and deceit is based on his name.
