A few simple numbers, all approximate. 275m people in the US, covid mortality 1%, 80% get infected. That makes 2.2m dead. Of course if those illnesses all come in rush, mortality might double, as people who might have survived die because of no treatment? That makes 4.4m. Now, of course, tossers will say when the world misses a lot of this catastrophe because of mitigation efforts, "see, we told you it wasn't that bad, it was just a plot to stop Trumps reelection". And coming up to US election time, no matter what the outcome, the good bits will be because of the genius in charge, and every other bit will be Obama's , WHO, Iran, China, and the Easter Bunny's fault. And liars or fools like BGR and Constipated Canine will be at the forefront.
