That wasn't the case as the "trial" did not even reach the threshold of statutory majority,
2/3, to proceed to actual "trial".
Statutory requirements were disambulated by dems as they do with all common sense applications in American politics.
Hence must not claim "... a significant majority voted to convict ... " as NO TRIAL TOOK PLACE!

I would suggest to Reps not to instigate a wave of revenge-impeachments against the likes of Pelosi, Walters
& other dinosaurs excavated unintentionally by those who should have known better.
