imo its Trump supporters who are deranged: they cannot, or refuse to, see the lies, the blatant lies as Trump rambles incoherently from one thought bubble to the next. they stridently, passionately virtue signal their idolisation of Trump by copying everything he says, does (like his little dance) and even wearing a bandage patch over one ear.

you might recall that on Jan 06 there was a riotous incursion into the Houses of Congress and Senate in Washington. Trump incited this riot. some of the rioters were armed, after Trump reportedly stopped the police from scanning attendees for guns and knives. they were hunting for Pelosi and the former VP with the intent of, at least, making a mock trial with the threat of hanging.
