1. Win at all costs by any means, he is a binary win/lose brawler
2. Rake the coals for glowing embers and how to fan them, into a forrest fire if necessary
3. Take a grain of truth or a grain of fact and twist, distort and mould into a popular myth
Trump knows how to burn and consume to get what he wants. He is no nurturer of talent, nor skills, nor human capital. He has not an ounce of humility or empathy.
Above all else, he wants that high office for the power and prestige and to have won that ultimate prize.
On winning GOP, he will be able to think he won and everyone else and the establishment loses, and this will be said as much in any victory speech.
Beyond winning office, he has no particular skills or desire for the flight and grind of high office. His known skills will not serve him well in office and will lead to hourly, daily, weekly growing win/lose battles.
The losses and stalemates will grow and with it frustration and any vestige of patience he might have had and with that his popular support will evaporate, as will any residual global goodwill or respect towards America.
